Christmas Eve Services

The Christmas season is often referred to as Advent. Advent is a time of longing, waiting, preparing, and the expectation of the most important arrival: the birth of Christ, the Messiah, Jesus.

‘Let the whole earth shout to the Lord; be jubilant, shout for joy, and sing.’ Psalm 98:4

Our Christmas series is guided by the lyrics of “Joy To The World.” The phrase “heaven and nature sing,” taken from a line in this classic Christmas hymn, serves as a reminder that the Lord is coming. “Let earth receive her King; let every heart prepare Him room.”

Each service will feature special music and worship followed by an inspirational message and candle lighting to Silent Night as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

You're invited to gather together at one of our service times, whether you are joining us in-person at one of our campus locations or online, we are excited to be celebrating together for this special time of year!

Pastor's Christmas Fund

In continuing with our annual December tradition, the Cornwall Church Board of Elders would like to extend the opportunity to you, the congregation, to say THANK YOU, and to show your appreciation and support to the pastoral staff here at Cornwall. From now until December 21st, we will be accepting gifts to put towards the Pastors' Christmas Fund, which will be presented to our pastors.

There are multiple ways to give: Go to cornwallchurch.com/give or the Cornwall app and select “Pastors’ Christmas Fund” in the drop-down menu under Funds, or you may give by check (with “Pastors Christmas Fund” noted on the check), either in the offering basket or by mail. Most importantly, we encourage our entire church body to continually pray for each member of our Cornwall staff.

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL

Downloadable PDF

New this season! This year we’ve created an Advent Reading Plan in print and digital form. We’re inviting you to intentionally carve out time to read through the prophecies, psalms and the nativity narrative as we “prepare Him room” in our hearts. Bonus: each Sunday's reading plan includes a family devotional and activity. We are also published on the YouVersion Bible App under reading plans. (search Cornwall Church).
