FOOD

Bellingham Food Bank

They are offering a drive-up food distribution. Folks may visit once per week and may choose among all locations which they visit. They will join a car queue and when it’s their turn, volunteers will load a pre-packed food box into their trunk or car without requiring person to person contact. There will be a walk-up option as well. Each car may pick up for up to two families.

Dates, Times and Locations

1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Shuksan Middle School

3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 at Christ the King Church on Meridian

1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at Waypoint Park Parking Lot, 1100 Granary Ave

Ferndale School District

Bellingham Public Schools have compiled a collected list of resources for learning at home. They will be continually adding to this collection. TEACHING + LEARNING

Ferndale School District

Ferndale School District is offering childcare for the children of healthcare workers and emergency responders beginning Thursday, March 26th from 6:45am to 7:15pm and will be able to serve children from 3 years old through 5th grade. For information. https://www.ferndalesd.org/covid-19/index FSD is asking if you would need this service to fill out this Childcare Survey. The results are assisting them in determining their space and staffing needs. Members of the Childcare Team are reaching out to make individual contact with each family who indicated they need this service.
